How much stone surfaces cost is as difficult to answer as how much a car costs. To be able to give an approximate cost, a number of questions need to be clarified.

Surface prices are calculated by project and the cost consists of stone, stone processing, surveying, delivery and installation. Therefore, we cannot give an exact cost without seeing the project, depending on the scope of the project, the stone chosen, the planned treatment and the thickness of the surface, prices can vary greatly.

We do not show the price of stone materials on the website because different manufacturers calculate material costs differently and this can cause confusion, e.g. prices may be calculated per part including offcuts, or prices may be calculated per part and offcuts are counted, or by sheet size - when the part is cut, how much material is actually left in the offcuts.

Usually, the Akmens Dizains technicians carry out an on-site survey of the surface, as well as the delivery and installation of the surface. But there are also many projects outside Latvia where we simply fabricate the stone surfaces to size, pack and prepare them for safe transportation. If our craftsmen are not required to measure and assemble the surface, the cost will be considerably less.

To get an accurate quote for your surface, you will need to know the dimensions of the surface, which edges are visible - which edges need to be treated, the type of stove to sink fixing - top-mounted, integrated into the surface or built-in (for sinks) and the location of the site, which city our technicians will need to travel to for surveying and installation. If measuring and fitting is not required, this should be stated. Also indicate the preferred stone material.

Prices are adjusted after on-site surveying, as often the volume changes, a different stone is chosen, and other details that affect the price of the stone surface are adjusted
